“Landscape - Lyrics and Lines”

Short courses (2hrs) in the landscape of West Cornwall with artist Jonathan Middlemiss

 These two hour drawing courses will take us into the landscape in West Cornwall . They are open to anyone who loves nature and wants to extend their appreciation through creativity. We will develop ways to extend and express our responses to landscape, relating to it through drawing, words, marks, photography, colour, shape and form. We will also look at what it means to ‘stretch our appreciation’ and stay with the open dimension of what we experience. We may use simple movements and sounds to take this further and find different ways to record our experiences. No artistic ability is needed, but you will no doubt discover the artist within you!
