November
These
paintings have been inspired by woodland light in November. It
is a time when the promise
of the year ahead is suggested before
the darkness and silence of mid-winter. The light at dawn
and dusk heighten the beauty of the ending of a natural cycle
and a feeling of reconciliation is everywhere. For me there
is a magical light and colour at these times.... small wonder
that Halloween or All - Saints Day are described as the time
when the veil between realities is at its most transparent.
