Contemplative paintings at Cliff Foss waterfall on my childhood farm in Nidderdale. Drawing, dance and writing near the river and the use of river sands in the paintings support the path of contemplation. See 'The Drover's Path' project and exhibition

Hubberholme in Wharfedale has a very small 14th Century church where I painted on a wet afternoon in May. The light coming through a small window above the font lit it up. It reminds me of how short our own journey is between font and window.

 On a memorable trip to Jaisalmer in 2001 I have memories of the footprint in the sand, meeting a friend and a magical town in Rajasthan.
